I create one strong, editable first version of the agreed project. This may be a presentation, handout, professional document, proposal structure, tracker, spreadsheet, research organizer, project plan, or another agreed starting point.
You receive something concrete to review and continue, along with guidance for adapting it and two rounds of edits to the delivered first version within the agreed project scope.
BUILD IT FOR ME

A Custom Project Build covers substantially more of the agreed project rather than only guidance or a starting point.
Depending on the scope, this may include a complete presentation, professional document, educational resource, spreadsheet or tracker, research-based resource, reusable template, or multiple related project pieces. Two rounds of edits within the agreed project scope are included so you can review the work and request changes before the project is finalized.
After the request is reviewed, you receive a written proposal explaining what will be created, what you need to provide, what is included, the timeline, and the complete price before work begins.

You may know AI could help with part of the work but still be unsure where it fits, which tool or approach to try, what to ask, or why the response keeps missing the point.

Sessions are shaped around that answer, along with the audience, available tools, and organizational requirements. Here are three ways a session can take shape. They are examples, not a fixed menu.
AI Orientation and Live Demonstration (60 to 90 minutes) — a practical foundation with live demonstration and safe healthcare examples.
Guided Practice and Troubleshooting (90 to 120 minutes) — participants practice with safe, realistic examples and work through what happens beyond the first request.
Applied Working Session (90 to 120 minutes) — centered on a project, task, or type of work your group wants to explore.
No approved tools yet? That does not prevent a useful session. Demonstrations, discussion, safe examples, AI foundations, and questions about workplace AI use can all be covered without participants entering workplace information into AI tools.
Pricing is based on the audience, goals, format, level of customization, and scope.

Consulting is for healthcare teams and organizations when the need goes beyond a single training session.
The starting point is understanding what people are experiencing, what work is creating friction, what tools and policies apply, and what the organization is trying to improve. The first step may be identifying whether the main issue is practical skill, workflow friction, access, policy clarity, tool fit, supporting digital skills, or adoption. The answer may involve education, workflow changes, clearer guidance, better questions, or a combination of approaches.

Depending on your starting point and the project, a one-hour orientation session may be recommended alongside the support so you know how to use and troubleshoot the guidance you receive. The session is quoted with the project, so you see the complete price before you decide.

I’m Sean Shoemaker, MSN, RN, a nurse with more than a decade of experience across healthcare settings. Throughout my nursing career, I’ve often found myself in a teaching role, helping patients and healthcare professionals better understand topics that can be complicated or unfamiliar.
When I began learning AI, I found plenty of explanations and impressive demonstrations, but less guidance on how to apply the learning to real work.
That gap led me to begin creating an introductory AI course for healthcare professionals. As I presented the material, continued learning, and listened to what people needed help with, I realized they needed and wanted more than an introduction, and more than a pack of prompts to copy.
That insight expanded the work far beyond the original course and became the foundation for The AI Preceptor: practical guidance, guided practice, and troubleshooting that help healthcare professionals learn how to work with AI while continuing to bring their own experience, judgment, and voice to the work.
